it does not take mythical flaming sword
it does not take daring bold heroic deeds
it does not take extreme wealth vast resources
the mighty action of caring for fellow beings
can be done in ordinary small kind simple deeds
individual humanity is defined within the tenderness
swift mercy sustained helping aid we each give others
especially kindness for the poor weak ill mistreated

that can do nothing for us
nobility spirituality of thought
producing effort to help others
is a salvation measure sacred
a healing manifestation of divinity
true spirituality God within us
