Infancy Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

Infancy

Rating: 3.0

The period all we ever wanted is to be teased
Eager to hear stories of how our country would be great
In love with our life not worried to meet all our wish
All we do is eat and sleep and play with the sand
There was no envy to becloud our mind
We know no hatred and our fight don't last a night
We walk ten kilometers just to play around
Life was comical nature was more of a friend
Not worried of the world and its ways
Its nothing serious some of the thing that we chase
Tomorrow riddle don't eat our brain
Yesterday bygones we don't awake
Always feeling pleased even when life upset
Nothing bothers us order than to play and sleep
Infancy indeed a life full of bliss
Despite no source of income but we do solve our needs
Happiness grows in every child's cheek
The mind of the bird we often pick
The birth of the moon we easily predict
Living was fun in our dream we claim to be rich and big.
