Innate Landscape Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Innate Landscape

Rollicking down lanes of merriment, letting joy and happiness
flow like lava throughout life, beautiful and gentle, a silent
poetical being.

Always writing to music, no one ever understanding the interior
essence of this poetically, musical heart, trying to distract
this mind with conversations and chatter.

Yet, intellect refused to be compromised and this poet continu-
ed to do what is loved most in this earthly life, a silent
strain of sorrow taking me into tunnels of time.

Music and it's chords measuring out moments of life, attuned
to the colors of sounds and their wonder as it touched an in-
terior curiosity with an awe of accomplishment at times.

Walking into another universe, traveling dimensions on many
different levels of thought, a non-ending trip of pleasure
and enjoyment that took me into landscapes of an innate world.
