Inner Strength Poem by Audrey Heller

As time goes on, we seem to get into
a rut and accept the way things are. We
know, it's not the way we'd like it to be,
by far! When it comes to making changes,
it isn't easy, but we realize it has to be
done. Should we allow it to continue, it
becomes harder to overcome. We all
have our moments, when things are just
too difficult to do, so we let it ride, but
who are we fooling, when we're really
dissatisfied. Life is too short, to stay
in an unhappy situation, day after day,
If you don't do anything, it will always
be this way! We all have inner strength
to call on, when needed, it's there, for
you, to use. Just have the courage to
take the first step, you have everything
to gain and nothing, to lose!
