Innuendo Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

Innuendo

Rating: 5.0

Everything started this morning
Brains blown out, no warning
There’s no innuendo
Sitting here staring out the window
At the back there is a commotion
Looking, you show no emotion
Investigators combined search
From trash can to trash can they lurch?
Who it was to own the blame
I will not rise to speak a name
Trying hard to walk the straight and narrow
Actions cut me deep to the marrow
Accusations will come and go
Rejected I was the one to know
Now sit, wonder why
Thinking hard you cry
This life relinquished so short
One less for humanity to abort
