Innuendos Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Innuendos

Hurtful innuendos can have a lasting sting
The tone of a voice can transmit disgrace
What is said and done can create a problem
Ask what was meant…straight out face to face

Remove any doubt of miscommunication
Make sure that you have heard correctly
Their answer will determine your next move
It could clear the air of cloudiness directly

The response may reveal truthfulness or not
Depending of course, if the confronted person lies
At this point, you are left with the choice to avoid
A person… who disrespects or boldly denies
