Inside Your Mind Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Inside Your Mind

Rating: 3.0

I was there last night
Traversing the deep labyrinths
I knocked on all the plinths
They seemed pretty sound to me

A catacomb of ideas
And thoughts brazen and free
They seem all lit up
When I tread in gracefully

Each step I take
The dark halls light up
It's Christmas inside
With you by my side

We touch different zones
Unapproachable cones
Smoothen the egdes
Of all the lonely ridges

It seems untouched
A virgin soil
For you and me
To plant ideas and toil

I seek to germinate
New ideas inside
A tumult of emotions
Always on high tide

Some paths seem familiar
I have the same in me
Look inside my head
And you too can see

We are just the same
Two pods one pea
A common journey
A path dripping in honey

A honeycomb it is
Secret passages I see
But luckily for me
I have the same key

I see you well now
A twin brain of old
Once together
They were sown

It all comes back to me
God had planned this
For all of eternity
It just took me a while to find ye
