From a cosy little town near the Bay of Bengal
A bubbling little village lad sprang!
Into the city, mustering all knowledge he could,
Conquering hearts with a bang!

The aspiring pilot with unfulfilled dreams
Then stepped onto rocket engineering!
Pre-natal defence research zoomed ahead
Where the Mighty Missile Man stood steering!

In every sphere of activity, he stepped
Rapid innovation trailed behind!
Simple living and herculean thinking
Enshrined his one-of-a-kind!

Politics too opened its doors wide to welcome
His duty-filled service to the nation!
The solitary, self-disciplined leader upheld
Science, integrity, and education!

Eventually, the dedicated teacher returned
To the growing citizens of tomorrow!
With silvery hair and an infectious smile,
He gave all that students could borrow!

Inevitable end then approached this Hero,
Whose heart with students' was tied!
"Bharat Rathna" Dr.Abdul Kalam,
Fondly remembered as Inspiration Personified! !
