Intimacy Isn'T Free Poem by Melanie Walendowsky Baker

Intimacy Isn'T Free

I know I won't let it happen.
I'll push the hope away.

Intimacy isn't free;
I'd pay with tears and fears.

And in the end,
what's the point?

I know that love
ain't here to stay.
