Into Morpheus Arms - Poem by Inday Prising

imprints of voices in mi corazon
wakes the sleeping senses of buried feelings
within the hallows of my mind
i feel the rushing of my blood
engraving itself into a web of tangled emotions
tattered, shattered into pieces
stained and marked
a gush of deafening whispers drown
these bittersweet memories
into oblivion
viciously shredding debris of sorrow
to an endless sea of eddies

grievances forge long ago
are now haunting me sueños
dragging me into a synergy
filled with dreary realities
realities that are wild yet sweet
livid but melancholic
sounds of gentle caresses
and of lingering pleads
no se vaya por favor porque le necesito
filled the dawn
commanding the shadows to make haste
the frolicking of passionate youth

only in fire and ice
can these feelings subside
only with oil and water
can these desasosiego retire

but until then
i'll take the memories
as they come
y espera hasta forever
it may take long, si
but i'm sure
el forever no terminara
