I just want to tell you today
That I love you and I swear I'm ready to speak
I'm starving for a response, for your touch
I'm dying all over again in a million and one shades of blood red
Confession: I used you as a tool
A compliment to further my love for myself
I had believed that having someone like me
Would be healing, and instead I need perfection even more
I need to hear those words again,
