Invention Of The Lightbulb Poem by james watkin

Invention Of The Lightbulb

It was Edison in a lab
Gave night its noon.
He bottled up all he could
Of that hour's boon.
And washing walls the world over
By Volt overseen
Moved the sun to frankness:
"My auxiliary sheen"!
