Invisible Poem by Lendsy Salcedo

Invisible

Pleasing me, taking care of me and loving me
Solitarily you promised you'll ne'er leave me.
Illicit rapport was all I could see, so in
Lavishly, i shunned you away, though it's a sin
Oppressing you to bestow your romantic zeal.
Virtue of neutrality, you are not for me.
East for West? North for South? No! i gave it a seal.
You are Apollo but i am not your Daphne.
Omitting me out of your life is a sweet pain,
Uber-good decision to replenish my stain.
My fault, my mistake, feeling the torment i make.
O-v-e-r-l-y-s-o-m-i-s-s-i-n-g-y-o-u but this is my stake.
Repeating your I love yous in my head is the
Epitome of regret. Now, this is for THOU,
