Invisible Ink Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Invisible Ink

Someone picked me from somewhere,
put a blank paper in my hands,
"This is the screen play, learn it by heart."
"It's a blank sheet of paper! I wonder! "
"Sir, May I know who are you? "
"Irrelevant, my face may be changed after my tenure,
You should keep your eyes on my shoulders."
Ink is mine; pen is mine write your fate on the blank sheet."
I started writing my fate, to my wonder again,
I wrote yes but on the paper no appeared,
And when I wrote no on the paper yes appeared,
"What is this? "
"Weren't you have been a king before? "
Your fate is already written but the ink is invisible.
You know me very well I am the kingmaker."
"May I go back in exile again? "
The designate humbly prayed!
