Ireland And Iran Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Ireland And Iran

Ireland and Iran

For years I
-have compared
-the Ireland with Iran.

Because they celebrate
-great days in the March.

The names and the causes
-are vastly different and apart…

Saint Patrick culture is
-driven from faith
-while Noruz of Iran
-is too old and ancient.

Irish is Saint Patrick, one nation's
-Noruz, not, it belongs to nations.

Saint Patrick and Noruz
-remind me of other relation
-between me and Jesus.

Saint Patrick day is on seventeen
-in four days comes Noruz
-and Jesus came four days before me…

Regardless of why when for the days
-both of them bring joy to globe, happiness.
