Is Earth Suffering A Spot Of Bother With Global Warming? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Is Earth Suffering A Spot Of Bother With Global Warming?

Rating: 4.0

In the name of prosperity
in the name of peace
in the name of freedom
do not allow intolerance
do not allow adversity to rule!

Society must choose
to live by moral codes
of excellence peace
love or choose death
earth rape destruction

the weather is heating up
protect the Amazon rain forest
protect the last great jungles
the last small surviving tracks
of forest bush wilderness or witness

birth the great age of great
drought devastating great floods
great unstoppable fire storms
heated smoke ash destruction
as danger global warming melts

ice caps raises sea levels
heats lands and oceans
causing neglect indifference
age of plague destruction
watch earth burning disease

hunger spreading growing
watch four horsemen riding
riding riding into a quarter
of the entire earth burning
hunger disease death

is the legacy humanity
is now stupidity creating
or are the four horsemen
of the apocalypse riding
are they real these horsemen

are they real only in the Bible
or are symbols becoming reality
ice caps are melting sea levels rising
global warming heats lands oceans
plague fires increasing are burning burning...

The deep concern you have humanity's future is evident in your writing. This is a good, well-written poem, reminding us that we must do what we can to stop destroying our environment and our life here on earth. Thanks!
