Isn't That Enough Of A Reason? Poem by Arun Maji

Isn't That Enough Of A Reason?

Rating: 5.0

'why do you love me so much? '

it's because you remind me
how crazy and wild I can be.
then I wonder- who is more wild,
who is more crazy? you or me?

I am so sober otherwise
but it's your secret smile, wild eyes
proud bosom, dancing hips-
those make me wild and crazy.

above all, I feel so happy
I feel immensely joyful if I see you.
isn't that enough of a reason
to look for you, to love you?

what is more precious, than
the smile of a soul?
what is more desired, than
the dance of a heart?

all is so fleeting on this earth-
even star dies a silent death!
but if I could smile thinking you
I would never die a futile death.

life is agony, but I am happy-
it's all because of you.
isn't that enough of a reason
to think of you, to love you?

Great poem! ! ! ! ! ! ! One of the best I have read on this forum in a long while. Please keep this up Arun Maji. Beautiful writing, simply beautiful. Your starting line, why do you love me son much? and others like the smile of a soul and the dance of a heart are simply captivating. You are a great poet Arun. You are.
