Isolation - Poem by Velvet Thorn

Separate
Apart
Alone
Too smart

Different
Seeing
Wanting
Bl eeding

Contrasting
Aligning
Opposing
Defining

Blackness seeps through my essence
Infiltrates me with darkness, defines me
Contrasts with the patchwork of colors around me,
Then evaporates
I disintegrate into invisible dust.

Sigh... I know just what you mean.
    'Blackness seeps through my essence
Infiltrates me with darkness, defines me'

    Wonderful lines of poetry
