Is war the only answer to vengeance
is bullet the only response to hatred
is killing the only reaction to enmity
is retaliation the only reply to hostility?
will war satiate your rage and your anger
will shooting quench your fury and your temper
will rockets vanish all those apartment and homes
will carnage and bloodshed reduce your revenge?
will the conflict continue till no men exists
will the war succeed in eliminating every citizen
will the pain aggravate the motivation to fight back
will peace wither away like a dispersing rainbow?
when will the glory of harmony spark in the skies
when will the bloodshed stop its network
when will the youth start to believe in their strength
when will they see eye to eye and concede to tolerance
when will minds summon faith to intercede and bring amity?
when will lives be spared and permitted to breathe
when will humanity remember its duty of compassion
when will war offer clemency and a chance to survive
when will forgiveness show up its sign of peace?
how long will the days of retaliation lasts
how long will the people suffer and die
how long will the massacre go on
how long will the wrath and destruction persist?
Israel and Gaza, wake up and show mercy,
show compassion to your people and others
show them that in the aftermath of war
all that remains is devastation and debris
but the blessing of life prevails
only when there is harmony in existence
and wisdom to encourage a truce and peace.
