It Has To Be Coincidence Poem by Francis Duggan

It Has To Be Coincidence

Rating: 5.0

It has to be coincidence or how can one explain
That whenever I'm in Warburton it rain
So many times I have been out that way
But never as of yet on sunny day.

I asked milk bar owner does sun shine out here?
And in his answer he made it quite clear
That in Warburton the weather mostly fine
And many days of beautiful sun shine.

It has to be coincidence or else what might it be
That in Warburton the sun I've yet to see
Each time I've been to that old country Town
The sky is dark and rain is pouring down.

Old 'Donna Buang' wears a cloak of gray
The six or seven times I've been this way
And though the wooded hills near Warburton are green
The sun shine on them I have never seen.

In milk bar heard the milk bar owner say
For Warburton this an unusual day
But I said only seen the place in rain
It's a coincidence is all he would explain.
