It Is Red Apple Cheeks Colouration Winter Cold Poem by Terence George Craddock

It Is Red Apple Cheeks Colouration Winter Cold

went to the bathroom
looked in the mirror
cheeks rosy like red apples
superstitious might believe
an old saying wise tale...
someone is busy badmouthing
a teetotaler might believe
it was a wild night on the sauce...

but those from cold climes
used to winter living in an icebox
perhaps unable to afford heating electricity...
would swiftly decipher the situation
with total accuracy a realist would know
red apples cheeks are colouration winter cold...
