It Is Written (Scripture Is King) Poem by Luke Easter

Verses from the bible are heavenly engraved,
A gateway to the Lord that is kingdom paved,
Like the one and only God, scripture is king,
Re-arranging the word doesn’t mean a thing.

There is a verse, with His stripes we are healed,
Physical, mental, financial, spiritual, it’s for real,
Never let shortsighted vision or ignorance steal,
Because a manifestation right away you cannot feel.

I’ll never forget sitting in a wheelchair refusing to quit,
After a doctor looked me in the eye saying, “get use to it, ”
A walker, crutches, the cane, now on my own power,
Not giving up because it takes years instead of hours.

I stood on the word of God, not what I could see,
That’s right, Isaiah 53: 5, you have to believe,
Look up the word “healed” in Webster’s Dic-tion-ar-y,
It should mean the same for you as it has for me.

I’d rather dream big and receive a little bit,
Than to have a small one, then get all of it,
Know a little of the bible, in the word being wise,
Memorizing scripture with doubt nothing will materialize.

Your bible is a workshop; Christ Jesus is the universal tool,
Don't be a graduate of the narrow-minded stubborn school?
Mark 8: 22-25, taken from the village before he could see,
Jesus led the blind man away from those who disbelieve.

There are many verses but here’s one more I’d like to tell,
A believer will lay hands on the sick and they shall get well,
Some translations of Mark 16: 18, use the word recover,
The key is that you do get better whether it’s one or the other.

John 10: 10, 'I am come that they may have life more abundantly, '
Why mirror progress of those drowning in lack with complacency?
Never having enough of this and with a constant struggle for that,
Is it where you really desire your children receiving their mail at?

Lamentations 3: 23, great is Thy faithfulness, new every day,
How is the fiercest battle won? When on our knees we pray,
Matthew 12: 36, you’ll have to give account of every idle word,
Pay attention to what is spoken even more so what you’ve heard.

2nd Timothy 3: 16-17, bible scripture makes us complete,
By profitable instruction so we may successfully compete,
Not just in 1 or 2 areas from God, effectiveness for all things,
Inspiration, correction and righteousness, whatever it brings.

Proverbs 29: 18, “people will perish were there is no vision, ”
Romans 2: 25, “habitually transgress the law, you lose circumcision, ”
2nd Peter 3: 18, “by the knowledge of Jesus Christ is how you grow, ”
Scripture is king when an understanding of the word we really know.

Refuse to be discouraged when the promised outcome isn’t automatic,
In the middle of a storm the best cable system will experience static,
No matter how dark the cloudy skies or deep a perilous valley below,
Genesis 28: 15, “I am with you & I will protect you wherever you go.”

Added, multiplied or divided, zero is still zero all-ways,
At the point where, “adios” is what you might have to say,
Before the serpent strikes and with poison you are bitten,
Jesus defeated Satan by saying these words, “It is written.”
