It Matters Not Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

It Matters Not

He knew, deep down
that reason was suspended.
He would come back
inside a box, or not at all.
The mongrel will, of course
be done away with, Hallelujah.
It is a matter for Justitia.

Man's law will not suffice
I am the Devil's disciple.
It matters not, of course
no, bro', it matters not.

Kill him all you want in your poems, Herbs, but NOT in real life! Harrowing and disturbing piece of writing that certainly inspires a reaction.
