It's A Good Day Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

It's A Good Day

I've had my third cup of
”attitude”,
activated the fingers,
unblurred the eyes, though
still not quite full speed.
A few more cups are needed
to get the little hampster
up and running on the wheel,
but it’s a good day
before it’s even begun.
If I can breathe in another day
and see another sun...
yes, indeed, it’s a good day
even before it has begun.
