'' It's Dangerous Only When Loaded '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' It's Dangerous Only When Loaded ''

On your desire to write,
To try and excite,
Your mind requires agility,
Use it to delight,
Not to incite,
The problem of human fragility.

Some believe in god,
Others say he's a fraud,
Regardless whatever you pen,
Some will applaud,
While others shout, flawed,
You won't know who, where or when.

Try not to be blind,
You can't always be kind,
That's a sure-fire fact of life,
If you remain refined,
It's how you'll be defined,
As human's some revel in strife.

The young and the old,
Can be warm or cold,
You must cater for different views,
If you try to be bold,
Some may well scold,
Literature was made to confuse.

On your subject matter,
Do have a natter,
Before you put pen to paper,
After your chatter,
You'll feel mad as a hatter,
They'll be wiping you up with a scraper.

You may write for fun,
But that tale you've spun?
There will always be someone you've goaded,
When all's said and done,
The pen's like a gun,
