It's Gonna Be A Long Way Home Poem by Paul Warren

It's Gonna Be A Long Way Home

The years ahead are long
As the miles roll by without you
I slowly wipe my sweaty brow
It should've been different somehow

In the night I've cried alone
With no lover by my side
It's gonna be a long way home
When I think of you tonight
But the memories remain

And the journey makes me
Alone once more again.
