It’s good to be back, I’ve been gone for a while
Forgot how to love, forgot how to smile
The darkness has lifted and left me alone
At least now I know my heart`s not a stone

It`s good to feel the sun, warm on my face
To stop and notice this wonderful place
For a while I have missed all the birds that sing
As Each day for me a new song they bring

It feels good to stop and take it all in
With a smile and confidence, let the day begin
Now I see that without a sound,
The ones who love me have been around

Quietly waiting for me to come back again
As I’ve finished dealing with all this strain
It’s good to notice the ones you love
They must have been sent to me from heaven above

Their smiling face`s welcome me be back home
It’s good to know I’ve never been alone
All along they have been loving me
Clearing my path and setting me free
