In that place so immortal and pure
No grief of sorrow
No flinch of pain
No crying of tears
No sting of death
No closing of grave
Just think of it!

In that place only peace will abound
No beast to harm you
No crime from a fool
No dread from a serpent
No pinch from a flea
Just think of it!

In that place a new harmony will reign
No ugly noise from a battle gun
No mourning song to be sung
No blood to shed
No sanctions on nations
No racial discrimination
Just think of it!

In that place the arrangement will be new
No call for rent no need no, never due
No need for lamps and candles
No more light or sunshine too
The Lamb will be light at day and night
No goodbye and parting with friends
No more Lion's roar from the dark of a den
Children will play with them instead
Just think of it!

In that place it will be an unimaginable city life
In the midst the tree of life
Water will flow from crystal streams
The trees of life in season-less bloom
Their fruits in their lush will never be due
And the healing for the nation its leaves provide
The gates of the city, wide will be open wide
To forever welcome the redeemed to abide
With talks and laughter we will there sit
I can hardly wait
I cannot wait; just thinking of it!
