It's Impossible Poem by Gary James Smith

It's Impossible

Rating: 5.0

It's Impossible

It's impossible for any man
To rob God of His glory
The Author and Finisher of our faith
Himself Salvation's story
Who knew that sin would bring forth death
So sin Himself became
And took it's penalty to the max
All glory to His name

We are lowly human beings
He is Deity
His thoughts and ways above our own
He owns eternity
We can easily get puffed up
Think we're something else
But we've been tainted with sin's brush
Don't think too highly of self

But humble Thyself before thy Maker
None else beside Him friend
We're not talking religion here
But faith in Jesus name
His forgiveness profound deepness
Such His cleansing way
And every heart that truly repents
Will see His Light that day!

O it's impossible not to praise Him
To have a God like that
Who came down from Heaven's glory
To meet us where we're at
And bestow a love upon us
Not of this world's way
But praise God by the blood of Jesus
I am saved today!
