It's not ok but we shall learn,
Isn't a first we suffer a loss terrible,
Events several prove we're the vulnerable,
Each time odds have stacked against,
History has proven that we've risen to the occasion,
To re-emerge as The force to reckon.

Foul offensive not a novelty,
A trap cheap with a poisoned sacrifice,
Why the needless interference?
That firmly put us on the defensive,
Confined are we now to a few squares,
While many a moving pieces met their ends tragic,
Left on the board stare at futures bleak,
The win is Yours but it's still round one,
It's not ok but we shall learn,
To re-emerge as The force to reckon.

What triggers in You this instinct?
What wrongs of us are You trying to admonish?
In unleashing an invisible element,
Are You hoping to inflict a dent permanent?
Not the first occurrence we learn,
That You have decided to tilt a neutral game,
A tactical flourish it is for You to return to fame,
It's not ok but we shall learn,
To re-emerge as The force to reckon.

A game it is of last piece standing,
Position complex it is, unseen zugzwang,
Coupled by lack of understanding,
We've a few tricks up our sleeve,
Learnt have we now enough of your poisoned pawn,
We've a gambit of our own,
Plan unique to nestle in a castle,
It was never an equal game,
The right You hold for the first move,
Massive depth of Your far sight,
Time amassed on Your side,
Our hands tied by the lack of it,
It's not ok but we shall learn,
To re-emerge as The force to reckon.

You'll see a new "us" in this fight,
Not so soon shall You see our heads bow,
Board next is a new beginning,
Not the one to give up or lose hope,
Rest there is none, until we've found an antidote,
Protected by a moat,
Inspiring us, stand witness those past episodes,
Constraints have nudged us towards creative roads,
But I know not the reason for Your lack of apathy,
It's not ok but we shall learn,
To re-emerge as The force to reckon.
