'' It's What You Achieved In Between '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' It's What You Achieved In Between ''

Throughout our living,
We think about dying,
We worry about taking our last breath,
It is so unforgiving,
That what we're denying,
Is, we've a long way to go before death.

People come and go,
Is a fact we must face,
Though hard we must learn how to cope,
None of us know,
That time or place,
But instead of despair live in hope.

Life is a gift,
You mustn't waste,
To enjoy it should be your main aim,
Giving others a lift,
Will give you the taste,
To play a large part in life's game.

That glass in your hand,
Keep it half full,
Half empty is never an option,
You'll soon understand,
Each breath is a jewel,
It's truly a wondrous concoction.

Each one you take,
Ensures you're still here,
Make the most of this chance you've been given,
This is your stake,
Do not live in fear,
Make sure with ambition you're driven.

Yes, life begins,
One day it will end,
You'll look back and picture the scene,
What life underpins,
Is The message you send,
