It Was Raining... Poem by ARUNIMA ROY THAKER

It Was Raining...

Rating: 4.0

The omnipresent sky,
Elucidated but pallid,
Tranquil but unpredictable,
Jigs and jives;
Twirls and whirls;
Amidst the raucous growls of thunder,
Amidst the blinding lightning,
Amidst the pervading serenity in my dreams...
Frightened but awestruck,
Tensed but smiling;
I brush aside my hair;
And look outside the,
WINDOW PANE...
Forgetting the pain piercing and succumbing the world..
I smile away;
Watching the kids...
Dancing;
IN THE RAIN....
