Its Daydream Adored Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

Its Daydream Adored

The real is the nursery,
where fantasy begins

The clay the permission,
for the sculptor to sin

The keyboard, the staircase,
to a heavenly score

The day not forsaken,
but its daydream—adored
