It's Going To Take

It's going to take a little while
Until the truth clicks in
When you begin to read the Bible
And find out about your sin
But what a learning experience
That's sure to bode you well
For when you come to repentance
You'll deliver your soul from Hell

The only way to find saving faith
Is to read the Book
For faith cometh by hearing
I'll be glad if you undertook
To read about the Lord Jesus Christ
For He's faith's author and finisher
And may the Holy Spirit of God
Draw you nearer and nearer

Use prayer for your beginning friend
God help me to understand your Word
To make application of it to my life
So that my soul's destination is assured
For there's no other name so familiar
In regards to the things of God
There must be something about that name
That needs to be understood

The Cradle...the Crown...the Cross
His death...His Resurrection
Then Christ sharing things that must come to pass
Then praise God His ascension
What a Saviour to follow
Who'll lead you all the way
He is the Word...the living Word!
Put your trust in Him today...

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
