It's Hard For Us To Imagine

It's hard for us to imagine
The concept of a God
Who would humble Himself as such
And endure sins chastening rod
To restrain from using power
That only He was capable of
And let men vent so callously
Such is the love of God

Hanging there in open shame
Though He did not deserve that lot
Taking full punishment for our sin
Though the recipients knew it not
And love poured out from Calvary
For all mankind that day
And the precious blood of Jesus Christ
Washed every sin away

Death thought it had a victory
In the victim that it choose
But was surprised three days hence
When the Son of God arose
And offered hope as a present possession
Through faith when we believe
His goodness and His saving grace
Are adornments we receive!

He arose! The echoing sound I hear
On Resurrection Day
Rejoicing believers cannot abstain
From praising God always
And heart's that know forgiveness have
A song of a soul set free
Praise God my Saviour came to save
To save a sinner like me!

This is difficult to imagine the concept of God but it is so easier to feel his love and wisdom. Praising God always we get pleasure. He gives his unlimited love to us. His saving grace saves our goodness. This is an excellent poem beautifully penned on this Easter. HAPPY EASTER...10
