You sat by my side,
Yes I've missed you so much.
In my dream we're together,
I don't want to wake up.
As we look through the window,
The daffodils sway,
In the breeze of the morning,
The grey sky gives way
to a beautiful sunshine,
It's glow is so bright,
I wish i could share
this dream moment each night.
I awake to the sound,
of a robin's sweet song,
Look out of my window,
he's suddenly gone,
Past the fine yellow daffodils,
that sway in the breeze,
A pleasant reminder,
From you sent to me.
