It's part of all our healing.
If you can mimic what I am feeling
If you can say how I'm hurting
And pick yourself up off the floor.
Bounce your voice back off the ceiling.
It's all part of our hidden makeup.
To be resilient as a wave upon a shore
But sometimes we must retreat.
And let echoes of regret continually echo.
In the background of a cave
No one can scale, no one can climb.
Or enter, and no one penetrates further into anymore.
It's part of all our resilience.
To know what we've been mining for
To dig until we hit some core
And find the gold we've all been looking for.
Empty chambers are only for bees.
Who has already earned a passage to the stars?
Unfulfilled dreams are only for the idle
In a caterpillar's hallucination
There is never enough to eat.
There is never enough gold.
There is never enough of anything to be told.
