It's Written In The Stars Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

It's Written In The Stars

The night stretches wide,
a canvas of black velvet,
pinpricked by ancient fire,
whispering secrets in languages
we have only begun to hear.

No symmetry binds them,
they scatter like seeds,
like thoughts unspoken,
like paths we might take
or leave behind.

Time unravels between their glow,
each flicker a heartbeat
of something vast,
something unknowable,
yet pressing close,
like breath against the skin.

They do not promise.
They do not warn,
They simply are,
as we are,
brief and burning
and searching for meaning.
