I've Heard The Telling

Wonderful that birth in the manger
Sinless was the Christ child born that day
Salvation as our gift from the Father
The King come in a most unusual way

I've heard the telling of the cradle
I've heard the telling of the cross
I've heard the telling of the gravesite
All contained the miraculous

Wonderful His death upon Calvary
Every sin was laid upon the Lord
Redeemed by the blood of that Saviour
"It is finished" His utterance we heard

I've heard the telling of the cradle

I've heard the telling of His gravesite
All contained the miraculous

Wonderful that news at the gravesite
Matchless was the God man Jesus Christ
Rising as our Life and Resurrection
His offering unto us eternal life!
