I've Let The Eyes And Ears Of My Heart Poem by Mohammad Younus

I've let the eyes and ears of my heart,
To listen to the voice of Mohammad.
That speaks to me to be God-conscious.
Let me believe and follow the Divine Writ,
That He reads out to humankind.
To know the divine knowledge and wisdom.
And perform in life righteous actions.
I have been getting his great lessons,
Meant to make me a devout listener,
Of the Word of God, the Song of love.
Awaiting the day, for something to say,
In praise of Divine and Human,
To sing Song of love to my fellow humans.

Turning my face around, I see His Face,
From behind His own veils of manifestation.
Divine light in my eyes, oh how I see,
His Splendid Beauty around.
He increases my awareness and enlightenment,
Through His Divine mercy,
His profound love remains infused in me.
Resurrected from the dead,
I'll be, by His grace, forever free in His presence.
