Jack Ass Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Jack Ass

Rating: 5.0

Jack ass

He talked, talked and talked
-"Want to die…" I told him
-he shouted, disapproved
-"No, never…not for you…"

He was sad to hear
-did his best to reverse
-my thought and wish
-decision…
-among what he told me:
-"…live; fulfil duties…"

"Duty? " I laughed, asked
-"…whom for and what against? "

Then let him give speech
-finally stopped him:
-"Let us say you possess
-stable and jack ass…"

Held breath and went on:
-"…what is your duty? "

He was shocked, no comment
-I was free to speak:
-"a jack ass needs hay-bag,
-and barley with hay, beets,
-then saddle for the load
-stable to rest in…"

He did say few words
-then turned rock and stone
-once again came my turn:
-"…anyone with cargo…
-will do that for jackass…
-let me go get rid of…
-living with the jackass…"

He knew what I meant:
-"Our today's modern world,
-is filled with jackasses…"
