James E. Carter, Rosalynn Carter

Beneath the Georgia sun so warm,
A quiet man of humble charm,
With hands that built and words that healed,
He tilled the soil, the truth revealed.

Beside him stood a steadfast grace,
Her gentle strength, her calming face,
Together bound through time's embrace,
They carried hope to every place.

Through trials vast and moments sweet,
They walked as one, no foe could beat,
A legacy of love, pure art,
Two lives as one, one beating heart.
