Jealousy Poem by Abby Wesson

Jealousy

Rating: 5.0

I wanted to float like snowflakes
I feel instead of gliding
i crunched beneath beliefs of others
I dripped away in hiding
I froze again and again for you
I was built strong like a man
but when i felt your heat again
I slide away and ran
i went through all the grassy greens
i traveled down the gutter
i wound up in a factory
cleaned up much better
i've frozen for the last time
my last thirst to quench
and now i melt into the glass
i've been tasted by the wench
