Jesus Poem by William Burke, S.J.

Jesus

I see your face in the desert
After forty days
Hungry.
But your eyes are clear,
Your sight is keen.

The Dance begins,
and you have chosen me
to be your partner,
Clumsy feet.

I will go to the desert
and prepare.
I've always wanted to dance.

Dear Fratello (you are a priest I guess) , I've read that Krishna dances with every soul. there are no dances described in Bible - but the meaning of your poem I mey undertand - it is a blissful Communion with HIM!
