Jewel Box Cogitation
like a jewel box ballerina
confined to one space
how would you like to live there
in repetitive grace
in a doll like country
with a tiny face
practicing the ballet.
the life of some artists
resembles this case
whirling in one position
trying to keep their place.
bracing for the closing of the sky.
