When my sister and I were children and would hear Riders on the Storm, just the eerie sound the Lizard King would send us scrambling to shut off the radio....we were truly petrified...reading your poem returned me to that feeling...powerful write indeed. I have grown, many years from that distant memory...and grew to love Jim's songs, along the way. Funny how it all can come back in a flood of flashback. Impressive.
Thought-provoking and provocative. Pretty much mind-blowingly excellent, in its swift pace and dark message and first class penning. It's stunning, really. 'Nuff said. t x

Im a big fan of Jim Morrison and of course the band The Doors. Riders of the storm was the first song that I liked from the Doors. This poetry is amazing, I really enjoy it.
