Judgement Call Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Judgement Call

I care less...
If someone is family, friend or foe.
Or...
The neighbors next door.
When a lie is told on another,
To spite and satisfy one's druthers...
That to me is unforgiveable.

And yes...
I confess,
I am making that judgement call.
And I don't have to justify my feelings,
At all...
Since I,
Am doing my best...
As a work-in-progress.
