Judgment Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Judgment

Is freedom a sword of Eden?
Royal pensive angels
When lilacs grow the stars sail
Wounds as deep as love
Tangles in the misty morning
Balance of the hummingbird
The troubled leaves blow
Her sanguine lips recite illusions

Dalliance of the cruel knight
Battles of heaven
Join the simple, embrace by emeralds
Fate can be a hard concept
Radiant friends live in pools
Understanding is not myopic
Conclusions drawn can be swords
Patience is the brother of wisdom

Judge and you shall be judged
