Written together, 'Edelweiss, '
Flower of the Alps, white and strong,
Sung in 'The Sound of Music' twice.
Though Julie Andrews did not sing
'Edelweiss' performing solo,
Later in a tribute she'd bring
Her rendition and lovely so.
None better does make music sound
So beautiful as Julie could.
List'ning to her makes one abound
With the passion of feeling good.
