July 4th



July 4th

Millions celebrate
This lovely summer day;
Some know why
And, the rest unaware.

I do too
But my cause
Is birth of my daughter.

Now, she is some woman
But to me remains same;
A cute lovely girl,
Tender and innocent.

Today and all the time
I shall and will love her.
